CAROLYN S. LANE Carolyn S. Lane, 65, of Neodesha, KS, died Thursday evening, February 17, 2005, at the Wilson County Hospital in Neodesha. Cremation has taken place and graveside memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2005, at the Neodesha City Cemetery with the Reverend Stephen Baxter of St Ignatius Catholic Church officiating. Penwell Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Carolyn was born July 20, 1939, in Wichita, Kansas. She was adopted by Marvin A. and Alma Ruth Wolfe Lane. She was raised and educated in Neodesha and graduated from high school in Mandan, North Dakota. She enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the Naval Hospital in Seattle, Washington. She returned to Neodesha to take care of her father following her stepmothers death. She is survived by her cousins, Beverly Halsey of Neodesha and Charles Wolfe of New Hampshire.
