Carol Grumbling

Carol Ann Grumbling, 58, of Neodesha, Kansas died at her home in Neodesha, Kansas, Saturday, April 19, 2003. Services are pending with the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home, Neodesha, Kansas. Carol was born in Johnstown, PA, in 1943 to Trevette Owens Grumbling and Vernon Grumbling. She attended St. Johnamp;s Grammar School and Johnstown Catholic High School, where she played in the band and graduated in 1961. She received a BA in Education from St. Francis College in 1971. All her life she loved animals and composed poetry about nature and about religios themes. She was the head of the Diabetes Association in Neodesha, Kansas. Survivors include two brothers Owen of Wells, Maine and John of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2003 at the Christ Church with the Rev. Dave Cheshier officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
