Calvin A. Willits Calvin Arthur Willits of rural Neodesha, Kansas, died Thursday, February 22, 2007, at the Wilson County Hospital. He was 62. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2007, at the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Pastor Eddie Boadway will officiate. The family will greet friends Monday from 9 a.m.-noon at the funeral home. The son of Ralph and Gladys Wilson Willits, he was born June 28, 1944, at LaGrange, Indiana, and received his education there. He moved to Neodesha in 1971 from South Milford, Indiana. While in Neodesha, he was a construction handyman. Mr. Willits served with the US Army from 1965-67 as a combat engineer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and VFW Post 5962, both of Neodesha. VFW Posts 5962 and 3018 will provide military honors. Survivors included five sisters, Eunice Taylor, Doris Bolinger, Bernice Gannon, Hazel Carriker and Phyllis Stinecipher; six brothers, Chester, LaVerne, Freeman, Sherman, Dexter and Perry Willits.
