pBuell Rae was born February 24, 1926 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Raymond and Buell Oaks Taylor.nbsp She attended Walter Johnson Country School and graduated from the Coffeyville High School.p
pBuell Rae married Oscar Bowman on June 2, 1946 in Coffeyville, Kansas.nbsp He preceded her in death on May 31, 2009.nbsp They lived in Neodesha then moving to Bartlesville for a few years before returning to Neodesha. While in Bartlesville she worked for a funeral home.nbspnbsp Buell Rae worked as a New Account Clerk at the First National Bank in Neodesha for over twenty years retiring from the bank.nbsp In 2009 the couple moved to Owasso to be nearer their grandchildren.p
pShe was active in 4 H and Girl Scouts with her daughter, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Neodesha and Bata Sigma Phi.p
pSurvivors included two granddaughters, Kristen and husband David Wooden of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Terri and husband Allen Hunter of Owasso, Oklahoma four great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Beau Wooden and Brandon and Zachary Hunter one sister, Yvonne and husband Marvin Shoop of Neodesha.p
pIn addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Chamberlain and two infant daughters and two infant sons.p
