Bonnie Asmussen

PCremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:00 am. A private inurnment will be held a later date at the Neodesha City Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial be made to the W A Rankin Library and may be left at the funeral home.P
PBonnie was born on August 23, 1927 in Neodesha, Kansas to Lloyd and Elizabeth McNanara Garrett. She graduated from the Neodesha High School in 1945 and attended Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas.P
PShe married Carl E. Asmussen on December 25, 1946 in Neodesha he preceded her in death on July 13, 2013.P
PSurvivors include sons, Mark Asmussen of Wes Monroe, LA, Robert Asmussen of Topeka, KS daughterinlaw, Vickie Asmussen of Neodesha, KS eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.P
PIn addition to her parents, her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Eric three brothers and three sisters.P
