Billy Vorderbruegge

Billy Joe Vorderbruegge age, 75 of Neodesha, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place at his request, under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel. A Celebration of Life gathering will be Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 4 pm at the Neodesha Senior Citizens Building, 601 Main Street, Neodesha, Kansas. The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Bill was born on January 5, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward and Frances Ogdon Vorderbruegge. He graduated from Neodesha High School and enlisted the US Army December, 15, 1967 and was honorably discharged on July 20, 1962. Bill married Judith Stark on March 6, 1960 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was selfemployed as a carpenter.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Mike Vorderbruegge of Galveston, Texas three daughters, Cheryl Miller, Madras, Oregon, Tammie Myers of Independence, Kansas, Penny Langford of Smyrna, Georgia nine grandchildren, Jeremie Maness, Jessica MannesCline, Ryan Vorderbruegge, Steve Vorderbruegge, Heather Montgomery, Billy Montgomery, Justin Myers, David Roulston, Clint Roulston and seventeen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Maness and one brother, Leonard.
