Beverly Parks

Beverly Elizabeth Parks, 75, of Independence, KS passed away Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 at Medicalodge in Independence, KS.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 5th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Neodesha City Cemetery, Neodesha, KS.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Chapel at 704 Indiana in Neodesha, KS.

Beverly E. Parks was born May 25th, 1940 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Harry and Pearl C. (Gordon) Simpson. She attended schools in upstate New York. Beverly lived in Neodesha for 11 years then moved back to Warwick, NY, then moved to Independence, KS and has lived there for the past 12 years.

Beverly loved reading books and spending time at the Rankin Library and loved spending time with her loving family. Beverly was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Neodesha.

Beverly is survived by two daughters: Pam J. Edwards of Altoona, KS and Jill A. Dunn of Independence, KS, and one son: Jeffery L Parks of Udall, KS; as well as two sisters: Bonnie A Limin of Warwick, NY and Linda C. Lindley of Hemet, CA and one brother: Robert Simpson of Oakland, CA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Beverly was proceeded in death by her parents and one son Theron W. Parks.

Memorials can be made to the Rankin Memorial Library in Neodesha, KS and memorials can be left at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha.
