Beulah Mae Hallbauer, age 82, of Hutchinson, Kansas died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was formerly of Neodesha, Kansas.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Loran Fawcett Chapel with the Pastor Dave Cheshier officiating. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.

Visitation hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.

The family has suggested memorials to the Eagles Auxiliary of Neodesha for Kitchen use and contributions may be left at the Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas.

Beulah Mae was born January 5, 1931 in Neodesha, Kansas to Clarence G. and Alta Mae Benson Elliott. She grew up in Neodesha graduating from Neodesha High school in 1948. She worked for her mother in the Restaurant Business.

On April 16, 1949 Beulah married Lester E. Pete Hallbauer at the First Christian Church in Neodesha, Kansas and he preceded her in death on March 20, 1984. She owned and operated Beulahs Caf in Neodesha for 20 years before she retired. Beulah was well known for her fried chicken and homemade pies. She moved to Hutchinson, Kansas in 1993 to live with her son.

Survivors include two sons Michael Hallbauer of Hutchinson, Kansas, Terry Hallbauer and wife Mitchie of Bernice, Oklahoma two sisters Helen Clanton and Betty Raida of Neodesha, Kansas five grandchildren, two step grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, three brothers Carl E. Elliott, Louis Elliott and Charles William Bill Elliott, and one sister Mary Ann Hallbauer.
