Augusta Jackie H. Lovett Augusta Jackie Hope Lovett of Neodesha, Kansas, entered the presence of the Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2007, at the home of her son in Ramsey, Minnesota. She was 85. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the Grace Baptist Church in Neodesha under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. Pastors Doug Newman and Jim Logan will officiate. Interment will be in Neodesha Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. The daughter of Evan W. and Hallie Lee Robinson Guthrie, she was born February 26, 1921, in Blackburn, OK. She graduated from Blackburn High School in 1939. On December 24, 1940, she was united in marriage to Clyde Lovett in Hominy, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death June 21, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Neodesha, Kansas.. Survivors include one son, Rodney Clyde Lovett and wife Paulletta of Ramsey, MN; one daughter, Sherry Lynne Potts and husband Frank of Winter Springs, Florida. two grandchildren, Heidi Lynn Bettis and David Andrew Lovett; and four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Bettis, Joshua Lovett, Anna Bettis and Maria Bettis. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Avery Guthrie; one sister, Minnie Stach; and one grandson, Mark Lovett.
