Augusta Michelle Erbe

Augusta Michelle (Taylor) Erbe, age 50 of Altoona, Kansas passed away January 13, 2024, during a short stay at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Augusta was born to Lola Taylor on April 24, 1973, in Neodesha, Kansas, where she attended school and later received her GED. Augusta had one daughter, Aushtin Vanveen of Altoona, Kansas, whom she was close with. Augusta later married the love of her life, Vance Erbe. They married in 2016, he resides at the home in Altoona. Augusta loved her family and friends and was well known for her contagious smile, sense of humor and kind heart. Augusta also enjoyed spending time with her nephews, Walker and Weston,

Augusta was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Taylor, and brother, Austin (Spider) Taylor.

Augusta is survived by her husband, Vance Erbe of the home, daughter, Aushtin Vanveen, niece, Elizabeth Rodriguez of Altoona, nephews, Walker and Westin of Cherryvale, KS, and stepdaughter, Jewel McCammon, and grandson, Scotty Scott, and many cousins. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel and Augusta will be laid to rest next to her mother at Altoona Cemetery at a later date.
