Alva Dutcher

Alva E. Dutcher, 79 of Neodesha, Kansas passed away on Saturday, March 30th, 2013 at the Wilson County Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.

Cremation as taken place, a Memorial Service celebrating Alvas life will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., at the First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia under the direction of Loran Fawcett Chapel in Neodesha, Kansas. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Mr. Dutcher was born October 10, 1933 to Alva P. and Dorothy Davis Dutcher in Iowa City, Iowa. He was raised in Iowa where he received his education. He also served in the National Guard for four years.

On October 20, 1999 Alva married Beulah Deen in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives the home. Alva had moved to Oklahoma in the 1950s and worked for GTE Phone Company, doing Fiber Optics. The family moved to Neodesha in 2008. He was a member of The Assembly of God Church in Fredonia, Kansas. Alva enjoyed serving at the Food Pantry in Neodesha.

Survivors in addition to his wife, one son, Charles Adams of Sapulpa, Oklahoma: daughter, Zoe Bauer of Nowata, Oklahoma six grandchildren seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one granddaughter.
