Alan Pence

Alan Wayne Pence, Age 50, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Neodesha, Kansas died Friday, February 7, 2003 at the University Community Hospital Fletcher in Tampa, Florida. Alan was born August 16, 1952 in Neodesha, Kansas to Clark E. and Marjorie Kerner Pence. He grew up in Neodesha, Kansas and graduated from the Neodesha High School in 1970. Alan then attended Community College in Alvin, Texas. In February of 1971 Alan entered the United States Air Force serving three tours in England. He was honorably discharged in 1980. On March 4, 1972 Alan married Sherry Lovett and they were later
orced. Alan worked in manufacturing dealing with quality control. Survivors include his mother Marjorie Pence of Independence, Kansas; one sister Sue Doss of Kansas City, Missouri. Cremation has taken place; A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2003 at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Neodesha Cemetery with Military Honors presented by the Fort Riley Color Guard.
