A. Irene Fink Alma Irene Fink, 92, passed away at the Wilson County Hospital on Saturday, August 31, 2002. Irene was born on Nvember 4, 1909 at Independence, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas and Lucy Hamlin. Alifelong Southeast Kansas redident, she attended School in Moorhead and was graduate of Moorhead High School. After graduation , Irene taught school at Salt Creek School for serveral years. She was united in Marriage to Forrest Fink. He preceded her in death in November 1990. The couple moved to Neodesha in 1942. Together they owned and operated Finkamp;s Motor Service. Surviving Irene are her son and daughter-in-law David and Elizabeth Fink of Neodesha. Also, surviving are her four grandchildren Melissa Hershey, Daryl Fink, Doyle Fink, and Bryan Fink all of Neodesha, and three great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Henry Hugh Hamlin. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at the Neodesha City Cemetery with Rev. Scott Hannon officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. on Monday, September 2, 2002 at the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home.
